We are looking to employ experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to perform a range of duties that are crucial for safe and successful concrete installation and maintenance.
ResponsibilitiesAt J.J. Barney Construction, you will have responsibilities based on the construction project’s needs, but they will typically include, but may not be limited to:
- Operating heavy equipment (telehandlers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, etc) in support of concrete construction projects
- Excavating for foundations, pavement, sidewalks, curbs
- Providing support during concrete placements
- Providing support for concrete formwork installation and dismantling
Skills Required:
- Prior experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator on concrete construction or similar projects.
- Knowledge of concrete formwork and shoring techniques.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks that may include kneeling, bending, and lifting heavy items.
- Strong work ethic with an unwavering commitment to quality and professional work.
- Ability to carefully follow written and verbal directions.
