Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Multi-Axis CAD/CAM Engineer (Tebis)

A day in this role

You step into a fast-moving, cross-functional environment where collaboration fuels precision. Your morning begins by reviewing fresh CAD data and setting up efficient multi-axis toolpaths in Tebis (or comparable CAD/CAM). Throughout the day, you fine-tune machining strategies, validate tooling choices through data-driven tests, and turn complex designs into multiple finished CNC programs. You'll be the go-to voice for CAM software improvements, crafting clear communications for the team and training others with examples and documentation.

When new machines or software versions arrive, you help champion upgrades, shape CAM databases, and extend training to our sister companies. All the while, you support machining department improvement goals and keep production moving.

What you'll do
  • Champion new initiatives, including machine and software upgrades.
  • Advance opportunity-for-improvement objectives for the machining department.
  • Mentor teammates with hands-on examples and written documentation.
  • Contribute to CAM software enhancements and communicate changes to the team.
  • Evaluate new tooling and report findings with measurable data.
  • Design and deploy new CAM databases and deliver training across our other companies.
  • Generate multiple CNC programs each day.
What you bring
  • Advanced experience with Tebis or other CAD/CAM programming platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-axis machining.
  • Strong understanding of tooling selection and application.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize CAM programs.
  • Proficiency accessing and interpreting design data from CAD systems.
  • Familiarity with the mold build process and/or background in the aerospace sector.
  • Organized, accountable, and comfortable multitasking in a high-energy setting.
Work style

We value excellent communicators with a positive outlook who thrive in a quick-moving, interdisciplinary workplace and consistently produce efficient, high-quality CNC programs.
