The Department of Counseling at Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan, is seeking applicants for part‑time Lecturers to teach courses in their MA and Ph.D. CACREP‑accredited programs.
Preferred Qualifications- A doctorate or ABD in Counselor Education/Counseling or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in school or clinical mental‑health counseling.
- Graduate‑level teaching experience.
- Ability to deliver courses in‑class and online.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably counseling (psychology and social work may also be considered).
- Relevant certifications and/or licenses.
- Competence in working with students from diverse populations and backgrounds.
- Willingness to use a web‑based learning management system.
- Familiarity with navigating video‑conferencing platforms (such as Zoom) for classroom or other interpersonal settings.
