The department of Human Development and Child Studies in the School of Education and Human Services is looking for qualified individuals to serve as part-time lecturers. We are accepting applications to teach special ed. content in OU’s Special Education Master’s degree and graduate certificate endorsement programs in ABA , ASD , SLD and EI as well as in OU’s elementary and secondary ed.

Areas of expertise in Special Education include: specific learning disabilities ( SLD ), emotional impairments (EI), autism spectrum disorders ( ASD ), Applied Behavior Analysis (specifically for BCBA certification) and education psychology.

Minimum Qualifications:

K-12 teaching experience and the minimum of a Master’s degree in Special Education or Educational Psychology. For ABA : candidates should be a BCBA (board certified behavior analyst). Experience working with children from K-12 in general and special education settings. Willingness and ability to teach in person during the day
, as well as use a web-based learning management system (Moodle) to teach hybrid or fully online courses as well. Familiarity with navigating video conferencing platforms (such as Zoom) with the intent to use in some classroom or other interpersonal settings;
