Overview
Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of electromechanical components for the automotive industry, is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to support the development of high-quality connector systems. This role leads product development from concept through production, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, internal standards, and project timing commitments.

Responsibilities- Lead connector design activities through production launch
- Develop connector systems in accordance with internal standards, procedures, and customer requirements
- Perform DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and tolerance stack-ups to ensure robust designs
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of technical design issues
- Initiate and supporting full product validation
- Ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and competitive within market requirements
- Support cross-functional collaboration and providing product training as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 6+ years of product engineering experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience with DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and structured product development processes
