Senior Manager, Tax Reporting and Compliance

A global manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Manager of Tax Reporting and Compliance to lead consolidated US GAAP income tax reporting and compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. This is a key leadership position within the corporate tax function, offering broad exposure to complex tax provision work, audit support, and cross-functional initiatives.

• Leading the preparation and review of the company’s quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740
• Managing internal and external reporting requirements, including SEC disclosures
• Overseeing US federal and state income tax compliance, including coordination with external advisors
• Supporting tax audits and preparing responses to notices from taxing authorities
• Driving improvements in tax controls, automation, and process efficiency
• Leading and mentoring a small team within the tax department
• Collaborating with finance and business partners globally

• 8 or more years of relevant tax experience, including at least 5 in tax accounting
• Strong ASC 740 experience required
• Background in public accounting and/or large corporate tax departments
• CPA or MST preferred
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Solid understanding of federal and state corporate tax regulations
• Experience with One Source, One Stream, or similar tax and reporting systems is a plus
