Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor - Rochester

Location:

Rochester Hills

• Onsite 5 days/week 9am-530pm
• Weekends are not required but offered
• Start and end of day is flexible depending on population that they see but 1-2 evenings until 6 or 7 is preferred.

• Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
• Administers individual and group therapy.
• Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
• Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
• Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

• Masters Degree with at least 3 years experience in the field of counseling, social work or psychology (Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required).

• Licensed Master Social Worker
• Licensed Counselor
• Licensed Psychologist
• Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted.
