Position:
Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Duration: ongoing contract, potential to get hired on direct

Pay Rate: $26/HR max

Schedule:

7 AM-3:30 PM

Interview: in person, 1 round

Must Haves:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities or commercial building maintenance
• Experience and working knowledge of electrical, security systems, landscaping, food services, housekeeping, HVAC, and plumbing
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and blueprints
• Knowledge of MIOSHA standards, Safety Data Sheets, PPE, etc.
• Trade or technical school completion - preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide technical duties and coordination within the Facilities Department to maintain interior/exterior services and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Essential Functions:

• Monitor, diagnose, and repair plant operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and compressed air systems
• Create specifications for preventative and predictive maintenance with outside vendors and assist in execution
• Address daily facility issues via work order system (Facilities Quick Track, FQT)
• Assist Facilities Manager on special projects such as construction, equipment selection, and cost reduction
• Repair or modify items like doors, furniture, plumbing, filters, and other equipment
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance
