Perform janitorial and special events/activities set up work across all parish buildings and grounds. Assist the Maintenance Manager with special projects. Help to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment inside all parish buildings, adjacent grounds, parking lot and surrounding property.

HOURS:

This is a part-time position (10-20 hrs/wk) with afternoon/evening and alternate weekend hours.

• Perform set-up/teardown and cleanup of facilities for parish meetings and activities.
• Clean all rooms and bathrooms, including, but not limited to, dusting, moping, vacuuming, emptying trash containers, and replacing supplies.
• Shovel sidewalks and entrances as needed.
• Address staff needs and issues as they arise.
• Follow campus security policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Minor repair skills a plus.

• Direct report to the Maintenance Manager.
• Indirect report to the Business Manager.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with computers.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift 50 lbs. or more and to be mobile for an extended period.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work as a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong integrity and honesty with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to work over regularly scheduled hours as needed, especially during holidays, special events and emergencies.
• Must complete the Archdiocesan Protecting God’s Children training and pass a background check.
