Dietary Order Clerk (Rochester Hills, MI)

This position is responsible for being in charge of capturing meal orders for our residents and guests. Our patients and guests look forward to their meals every day and we look forward to providing them with great food that invokes happiness and joy.

How you will help people every day:

• Greeting guests to the building, providing explanation of our menu, and ordering process for our daily specials as well as our always available menu.
• Meeting and talking with guests on a daily basis and taking meal orders.
• Acquiring resident and guest preferences and collaborating with the RDN or Executive Chef on input in the Nutrition Management program.
• Printing meal production sheet for each meal and meal tickets.
• Updating the daily menu for the dining rooms.
• Assisting with the serving of meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, and preparing and serving food and snacks in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.

You will earn: $16.00 per hour to start!

• Starting wages $15.15 per hour
• PLUS $0.85 Hero Pay!

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• Serv Safe and Allergen Trained
• Starbucks Barista trained is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide Bistro services
• Knowledge of food service laws, regulations, and guidelines governing
• Good interpersonal skills with communicated ability to interact effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care
