We are looking to add a Maintenance technician to our Team! We are looking for an energetic, mechanically inclined candidate who is looking to grow their career in a Skilled trade maintenance position. This position will be responsible for preventative maintenance on our machines, equipment, and facilities along with other assigned maintenance tasks. Should be available to work up to a 55 hour/week including Saturday and an occasional Sunday if needed.

Day shift 7 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m. M-F 7 a.m.

- 12:00 p.m. Sat

The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CNC machines and repair experience would be a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate company man lifts/forklifts / cranes as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines includes cleaning machines and changing coolant.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building.
  • Complete minor and major repairs to building structure, equipment and machines.
  • Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs to facilities.
  • Perform minor cosmetic repairs to building walls (painting, plastering, etc.).
  • Support quality and environmental, health & safety policies, procedures, and training.
  • Travel to other Hi-Tech facilities, if necessary, as directed by General Manager.
  • Perform Training of other maintenance tech, etc. as required.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by Manager.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be available to work overtime including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as assigned by the General Manager.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull continuously.
  • Work in an environment with many different sounds and sound levels.
  • Work with and/or around solvents, chemicals, irritants, and/or other potential allergens.
  • Work in a self-directed, fast-pace environment.
  • Work in close proximity to others as required.
  • Meet physical requirements of forklift / crane operation (vision, distance judgment, etc.).
  • Must be able to work on ladders and lifts in high, precarious places
  • Must be able to operate Hilo's and cranes.

Required Technical

Skills and Experience:

  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge painting and cosmetic repairs.
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
  • Capable of communicating both orally and in written form with co-workers.
  • Capable of using hand held tools.
  • Organized, responsible, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Capable of interfacing with various personalities at all levels of our organization.
  • Able to perform major and minor repair to CNC machines and associated equipment.
  • Must be able to read hydraulic, electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Must be able to trouble shoot machines with meters and test equipment.
  • Must be able to understand and troubleshoot all types of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.
  • Must have a good understanding of servo motors and drives.
  • Must have necessary tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair all machines and equipment.
  • Must have basic knowledge of windows operating system and computer use.
