Job Description & How to Apply Below
£900 per Week | Full-Time | Immediate Start
Tired of dealing with the public?
Fed up with customers questioning every repair, complaining about prices, or expecting miracles on impossible budgets?
If you're an experienced mechanic looking to step away from customer-facing garage work and into a professional fleet environment, this could be exactly what you're looking for.
At Adore Recruitment, we're recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial vehicle business where your focus is simply on maintaining and repairing vehicles—not explaining invoices or handling customer complaints.
What's in it for you?
* £900 per week – dependable weekly pay
* No public-facing work or retail garage pressures
* Work on a fleet of commercial vehicles with a steady workload
* Varied role combining mechanical repairs with parts management
* Supportive team and well-equipped workshop
* Stable, long-term opportunity with genuine career progression
* Monday to Friday role with a better work-life balance
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you'll be trusted to do what you do best—keeping vehicles safe, reliable and on the road.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles
* Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out efficient repairs
* Identifying and sourcing the correct vehicle parts
* Managing parts orders and maintaining stock levels
* Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
* Working closely with the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience working on commercial vehicles, vans or fleet vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components
* A reliable, self-motivated approach with pride in producing quality workmanship
This Role Would Suit You If...
* You're tired of dealing with retail customers and price disputes.
* You want to work in a professional fleet workshop where the focus is on quality repairs, not selling work.
* You enjoy a varied role that combines mechanical repairs with parts management.
* You're looking for a secure, long-term position with a respected employer.
If you're an experienced mechanic looking for a change from the pressures of a customer-facing garage, we'd love to hear from you.
