An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join a growing commercial vehicle operation in Rochester.

This role offers excellent earning potential, structured training and genuine opportunities to progress into Senior Technician, Workshop Controller or Supervisory positions.

The role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of HGVs while working in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

Key responsibilities

* Routine servicing and preventative maintenance

* Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis and repair

* MOT preparation and safety inspections

* Use of diagnostic equipment

* Accurate completion of workshop documentation

* Supporting workshop efficiency and quality standards

What we’re looking for

* Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)

* Previous HGV or commercial vehicle experience

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Team player with a professional attitude

* Desire to develop and progress within the business
