Position
Purpose:
The Student Affairs Administrative Coordinator, reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, will interact with members of the University, Corewell Health System, and the community. The Administrative Coordinator will perform duties requiring independent judgment and planning such as managing special projects, planning events, and assisting with budget preparations. The Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the Student Activities & Events Coordinator to collaborate on OUWB signature events.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong technical database skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing and growing environment and to manage multiple tasks.
- Event planning experience.
- Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and work both independently and as part of a team.
All qualifications are preferred, unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement. Qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.
