What You ll Do
As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing replacement parts, technical information, pricing, delivery updates, and order support.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Manage customer orders from quote through delivery and invoicing
• Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
• Research part numbers and product information using technical manuals
• Generate pricing quotes and confirm product availability
• Process order entries, returns, warranty claims, and credits
• Provide order status updates and delivery information
• Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics, Sales, Technical Support, and Service teams
• Gather technical information to identify correct replacement parts
• Support team members and provide backup coverage when needed
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while handling customer concerns

Schedule Details

• First 6 months:
  Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• After 6 months:
  Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Up to 5 hours of overtime available most weeks
• After 9 months, employees may bid on earlier shifts (7 AM-4 PM or 8 AM-5 PM) or remain on the 9 AM-6 PM shift
• Work schedules are created 3-4 months in advance

Qualifications
Required

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and punctuation
• Strong verbal communication and phone skills
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Stable work history with solid job tenure
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

Preferred

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one)
• Call center experience
• Automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial customer service experience
• Technical, IT, or mechanical aptitude
• Parts experience (automotive or industrial)
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems
• Order entry, quoting, and inventory-related experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester Hills, MI.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
