Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for teaching courses in the field of organizational leadership, focusing primarily on graduate level courses. Coordination of the Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership is expected to be part of the responsibilities. In addition, candidates are expected to contribute to the field through active research and publishing, and engaging in institutional and professional service. Graduate student advising is required.

Minimum Qualifications

A terminal degree such as a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in a field relevant to educational or organizational leadership (applicants who will be completing the doctorate no later than August, 30, 2026 may be considered);
Professional experience working in the field of education (including K-12 or higher education) or organizational leadership;
Prior experience working with and/or supervising graduate students preferred.

The Department of Organizational Leadership is one of four academic departments in the School of Education and Human Services. It offers seven degree programs including three doctoral programs, three master's programs, and one undergraduate program in addition to five graduate certificate programs. In addition, the Department is home to the Galileo Institute for Leadership, the Ken Morris Center for the Study of Labor and Work, and the Pawley Lean Institute.
