Step into an opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in a contract role for the  school year. This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population, helping foster positive outcomes through assessments, counseling, and the development of intervention plans. You'll collaborate with educators and families to create supportive learning environments and contribute to student success.

Ideal candidates should bring experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings. While holding current Michigan licensure is preferred, those willing and able to secure the necessary credentials before the next school year are encouraged to apply, including travel professionals seeking new school-based opportunities.

Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Valid (or eligibility for) Michigan School Psychologist license by the start of the new school year
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Prior experience with K-12 student caseloads, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention planning skills
  • Effective communication with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments for K-12 students
  • Provide clear, comprehensive evaluation reports and recommendations
  • Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Offer guidance and counseling to students individually and in groups
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families on student behavioral and academic concerns
  • Support crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices
