Qualifications &
Experience:
- Valid (or eligibility for) Michigan School Psychologist license by the start of the new school year
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Prior experience with K-12 student caseloads, preferably in a school setting
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention planning skills
- Effective communication with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for K-12 students
- Provide clear, comprehensive evaluation reports and recommendations
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer guidance and counseling to students individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families on student behavioral and academic concerns
- Support crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices
