Special Education Teacher in Rochester, MI

• Current teaching certification in Special Education with ASD endorsement in Michigan
• Experience supporting elementary-age students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment

• Deliver tailored instruction in a self-contained setting to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other educational professionals
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and growth
• Maintain accurate records, monitor academic and behavioral progress, and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster independence, problem-solving, and social skills through daily interactions
• Participate in school meetings, staff development, and special education team planning
