Tutoring Services Coordinator

Oakland University is hiring a Tutoring Services Coordinator. The coordinator will assist the Director of Academic Success by monitoring the academics of men's and women's basketball student-athletes and at-risk student-athletes from all sports, while supporting their time management, study, and organizational skills.

• Monitor academic progress for men's and women's basketball student-athletes and at-risk student-athletes from all sports.
• Assist student-athletes with time management, study skills, schedule management, and connecting to campus resources.
• Must uphold NCAA, Conference, and University policies and regulations.
• Position reports to the Director of Academic Success within Athletics Administration.
• Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and a background in education, tutoring, mentoring, or student services.
• Ability to work some nights and weekends and operate independently or as part of a team.
• Must possess demonstrated computer skills.
• Preferred experience working with collegiate or high school students.
• Compensation is $15.00 per hour with a casual work schedule (10-19 hours per week) and no benefits.
