Electrical Designer

Overview:

The Electrical Designer will design and assist troubleshooting electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Take customer supplied specifications and create control and network drawings

Produce electrical and pneumatic designs and modifications by identifying project objectives and issues

Research and develop control engineering techniques and approaches

Participate in Risk Assessments Build Sequence of Operations Work within a budget to develop Bills of Materials Verify and validate designs as needed

Provide system documentation as required

Customer support

Any additional duties assigned by management

Qualifications &

Experience:

Any combination of education and/or experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.

Typical qualifications would be:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering or similar preferred, but not required5 years of experience of direct field experience or equivalent

Sound skills with technical, troubleshooting, and documentation

Ability to manage multiple priorities and advance multiple projects in parallel

Familiarity with NFPA, ISO, and CSA standards

Work well in a multi-disciplined team environment
