Civil Project Manager – Land Development
Our client seeks a Civil Project Manager to report directly to the VP of Land Development and work from the Rochester Hills office (with additional metro Detroit locations available).
Role OverviewThis highly client‑facing position focuses on land development projects across Southeast Michigan. The manager will oversee projects from initial planning through construction, collaborating closely with internal design teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits and provide construction‑phase support.
- Assist with permit applications and approvals.
- Evaluate land use and zoning requirements.
- Oversee design and drawing production for private, commercial, and K‑12 projects.
- Lead project‑management activities including scheduling, coordination, and execution.
- Partner daily with internal design teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in‑office / 2 days remote.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 7+ years of civil land‑development experience.
- Proven project‑management experience (3+ years preferred, but flexible).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with K‑12 projects.

Permanent position based out of Rochester Hills, MI.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $95,000.00 – $ per year.
