Executive Director of Treasury Management

Oakland University is hiring an Executive Director of Treasury Management. This role involves providing strategic leadership and oversight for the university’s treasury management functions, including debt administration, investment management, liquidity planning, risk management, and policy development to support the institution’s financial sustainability and long-term goals.

• Lead treasury management functions including debt administration, working capital, and endowment investments.
• Ensure prudent stewardship of financial resources through investment management, debt financing, and risk management.
• Manage financial operations aligned with the university’s mission and strategic objectives.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Public Administration or related field required.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in treasury management, investment management, debt administration, or institutional finance.
• Preferred experience in higher education, public sector, nonprofit, or healthcare finance.
• Proficiency with financial management systems, investment reporting platforms, spreadsheet and analytical software.
• Strong skills in strategic financial planning, financial analysis, policy development, and organizational leadership.
• Salary range $140,000 - $160,000 annually.
• Works within the Finance & Administration department, overseeing financial strategy and operations.
