Nursing Assistant - Float Staffing - Nights​/Contingent

Contingent requirements:

• Minimum of 5 shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Maximum of 96 hours prescheduled in a 6-week period
• Shifts are 12 hours in length
• Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Friday 1500 - Monday 0730)
• Must work at least 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
  • Summer:
    Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
  • Winter:
    Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year s Day
• Will also work one of the following shifts:
  Easter, Mother s Day, Father s Day, Halloween, or the Day after Christmas

Assists with basic patient care activities. Responsibilities:
Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN). Assists in providing care appropriate to population specific facilitating timely and individualized care of assigned patients. Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport. Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

- Current AHA BLS certification or obtain within first week of hire through HEART CODE required.
