Activity Assistant

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rochester, MI, for an Activity Assistant. The Activity Assistant will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents. This includes providing support to residents during activities, assisting in event setup and clean-up, and maintaining a positive, engaging environment. The role also entails actively engaging with residents to improve their quality of life and collaborating with other staff to ensure a seamless experience for the residents.

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Experience or skills in Recreation and organizing engaging activities.
• Background in Elder Care with a compassionate approach to working with seniors.
• Training or experience in leading group activities and events.
• Punctuality, dependability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Passion for improving the lives of elderly community members.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in elder care or recreation are a plus.
