Position: Manager / TL Aseptic Manufacturing 1100am-730pm
* The successful candidate will oversee a team of manufacturing operators engaged in the production of aseptic pharmaceutical products. Demonstrating personal leadership, initiative, sound judgment, and accountability is essential, as well as exhibiting strong planning and organizational capabilities. The role requires exceptional communication skills, integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and groups from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include managing production cost centers and supervising manufacturing personnel to ensure high-quality output.

The candidate will uphold rigorous regulatory compliance standards and contribute to the development of both behavioral and technical competencies within a culture of continuous improvement to support patient needs.
* This position is responsible for overseeing aseptic prep, micronizing, gel compounding, formulation, and filling of sterile injectable products at the Rochester site. Collaboration within a team of managers and technical staff is required to ensure operational excellence. Strong teamwork and advanced technical skills are necessary, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing processes and equipment.

Comprehensive knowledge of compliance requirements, as well as pharmaceutical, pharmacological, biological, biochemical, medical, and microbiological principles, is expected.
* As a manager, you will be accountable for achieving objectives and preparing resource forecasts. You will provide technical guidance and oversight to your team, assist with problem-solving, and support the professional development of colleagues. Ensuring effective counseling and corrective action when necessary is integral to fostering an environment where all team members can realize their full potential.
* Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding and application of industry, functional, and Pfizer-specific principles, theories, concepts, and practices, accompanied by a general awareness of related disciplines. Possesses knowledge of foundational leadership principles, with a primary focus on supervising defined processes and production teams—roles which may demand in-depth, specialized expertise.
* Consistently provides solutions to a broad spectrum of challenging and complex issues, leveraging ingenuity, innovation, and creativity, and occasionally referencing precedents and established policies. Exhibits strong analytical skills through information gathering, evaluation, and interpretation, adeptly identifying cause-and-effect relationships. Solutions are both practical and thorough, aligning with organizational objectives. Demonstrates adaptability and constructive responsiveness to evolving priorities and interactions within the team environment, while operating in accordance with established HR policies and basic colleague relations guidelines.

* Manage staff engaged in production or process completion, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, cGMPs, GDPs, and company policies, procedures, and objectives.

* Work collaboratively with quality, production, procurement, suppliers, and forwarding agents to maintain consistent supply.

* Support investigations and continuous improvement efforts by applying tools to enhance quality, reduce costs, improve safety, or shorten cycle times.
* Maintain audit readiness and organize daily production activity schedules.
