Pinnacle GI Partners is excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Manager with Infusion experience to lead our growing enterprise. We’re seeking a dynamic individual with strong clinical skills, business acumen, and a passion for exceptional patient care for our Infusion Manager position. In this hands-on role, you will oversee the daily operations of the infusion centers in Rochester and Macomb.
This role requires spending approximately 25% of time providing direct patient care within infusion and 75% on administrative and managerial responsibilities. The Infusion Manager reports to our Director of Ancillary Services.
- Oversee daily operations of the infusion center, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Work in partnership with infusion staff and other key departments such as reception/scheduling, billing/auths, clinic staff, and providers.
- Supervise and manage infusion center staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee patient scheduling to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Promote outreach and expansion efforts to grow our Infusion services.
- Handle inventory ordering and management.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Address patient concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Administer IV infusions, monitor patients during treatment, and manage any adverse reactions in accordance with established protocols.
- Coordinate and prepare for daily infusion appointments, ensuring proper patient documentation and orders are in place.
- Educate patients on infusion medications, treatment plans, and what to expect before, during, and after therapy.
- Current Michigan RN license
- Strong clinical background in infusion therapy with experience in healthcare management or leadership
- Passion for excellent patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must pass a background check and drug screen upon hire
