Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct clinical care including first aid, treatment of acute illnesses, and emergency management for students and staff.
• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs) for students with chronic conditions or disabilities.
• Safely store, monitor, and administer prescription and over-the-counter medications as prescribed.
• Conduct routine health screenings such as vision, hearing, and growth assessments to identify early health concerns.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records for students, ensuring vaccination compliance.
• Educate students and staff on topics including nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, and overall wellness.
• Monitor communicable diseases and promote a safe and compliant school health environment.

Qualifications:

• Active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
