The General Laborer reviews and inspects parts throughout production stages to maintain quality and reliability in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.

• Perform hourly in-process inspections for all running jobs using gauges, scales and visual inspection to identify product defects.
• Notify floor supervisor/plant manager immediately when non-conforming parts are detected.
• Quarantine nonconforming parts physically with proper identification and labeling.
• Support additional Quality department duties as assigned.

• Requires strong attention to detail and visual acuity for defect identification.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Safety awareness and commitment.

• Able to sit or stand for 10-12 hours a day.
• Unconditioned manufacturing facility and air-conditioned office.
• 25% production floor (walking/standing) performing hourly inspections.
• 75% Quality lab (sitting) conducting dimensional inspections.
• Minimal heavy lifting required (less than 20 lbs).

• High School Diploma.
• Proficiency with hand gauges (micrometer, caliper, ring gauges, plug gauges) is a plus.
