Oakland University is seeking motivated undergraduate students to join the Song Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Fall 2026/Winter 2027.
The lab studies centrosome assembly and mitotic spindle organization in
C. elegans using genetics, molecular biology, protein analysis, confocal imaging, and CRISPR. Federal Work-Study paid or NIH-funded/volunteer positions are available, with 10–20 hours per week over 2–3 days.
