Full-time and/or Part-time Retail Sales Associates are wanted immediately for The Spice & Tea Exchange®, a specialty
retail shop that sells spices, herbs, teas, spice blends, rubs and related products. Come work with us in a fun, creative
and supportive environment!

A Retail Sales Associate will be expected to:

• Ensure each guest receives stellar service with warm welcomes upon entering the store and greeted with our trademarked opening lines
• Maintain inventory levels throughout the store, including on shelves, counters, tables, and within containers
• Assess store inventory and notify management of low levels and out of stock situations as needed
• Label all merchandise with correct pricing in their assigned planogram locations
• Blend and package products, as necessary
• Assist guests with merchandise requests and inquiries about location, product information, price, and usage, while building rapport to encourage their return
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to promote products effectively by reading relevant publications and completing required training
• Comply with all operating standards and procedures as they relate to the daily operation of the store
• Assist in maintaining the store's appearance through daily chores, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment for our guests

Skills

• Proven guest focus with stellar guest service
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to utilize simple math skills in measuring ingredients, reading a scale, and following recipes

Physical Demands

• Regular use of kitchen tools to prepare daily blends
• Maneuver around sales floor and stockroom; involves blending, standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching, and lifting
• Stand and walk around the store 95% of the time to assist guests and work with the team
• Frequent lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 pounds
• Constantly exposed to our exceptional spice and tea aromas
