The purpose of this position is to generate new sales opportunities in the region. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing within his/her territory and for advancing the organization’s growth programs.
Responsibilities- Lead revenue growth within the vertical markets of automotive, aerospace, and heavy industrial throughout the US.
- Manage and execute all selling and growth objectives.
- Provide leadership and administration of all sales and business development activities to align with regional strategies.
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and ethical standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of quality services to clients.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients, ensuring compliance with risk management requirements.
- Lead growth initiatives, including service line expansions and new client development.
- Develop and execute specific client opportunities and maintain an active pipeline.
- Prepare winning bids and support major account management through a CRM model.
- 5 years experience in pulp and paper, power generation, and automotive; experience with heavy industrial casting markets is an asset.
- Experience in sales, marketing, and business development with a technical service or product organization.
- Prior knowledge of large industrial clients and technical marketing.
- Strong track record as a business partner to senior management in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
- Demonstrated success in technical, solutions‑oriented sales to engineering and operating managers.
- Experience with sales methodologies for enterprise through small and medium businesses.
- Experience managing CRM or related sales systems.
- Hands‑on leadership orientation in a performance‑oriented work setting.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and communication skills at all levels.
- Collaborative team‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel ~70% of the time.
- A technical undergraduate degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs with strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
