Minimum Qualifications:
- HS graduation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge, experience or background in security, law enforcement, or related field.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn methods of proper art object handling & security of historic buildings and interiors.
- Valid Michigan driver's license & a driving record acceptable to the University’s insurance carrier. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Position
Purpose:
Security of Meadow Brook Hall buildings, grounds, and collections.
Job Duties:
- Provide security of the building, grounds, and collections during facility rental events.
- Close and secure the building at the conclusion of events.
- Work primarily nights and weekends, up to 19 hours per week.
