Security Coordinator Meadow Brook Estate

This is a full-time position. Must be available to work weekend and nighttime hours.

Position

Purpose:

Maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons and employees of Meadow Brook Hall by establishing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and monitoring premises and personnel.

• Establish and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitor premises and personnel.
• Make regular rounds and visually inspect areas for safety.
• Work in a stationary position as well as remain standing for periods of time.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for the University’s insurance carrier.
• Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience.
• Successful pass of a thorough background investigation.
• Excellent integrity, good moral character and initiative.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
