- Candidates must be committed to the academic, athletic, and personal success of the student athlete;
- Individuals need strong organizational skills, and strong knowledge of the game;
- Playing experience and/or previous coaching experience at either the club, high school or college level required;
- Perform all duties in accordance with the NCAA , Conference and University rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Oakland University is a Division I athletic program committed to academic and athletic excellence. Our Athletics Department is looking for a highly organized, driven and detail oriented individual to fill the position of Part Time/Casual Assistant Volleyball Coach. This position reports directly to the Head Coach, Volleyball. This position will assist the Head Coach in administering all aspects of an educationally sound and competitive Division I women’s volleyball program, including developing the program’s student-athletes academically and athletically, and in creating a positive, first-class experience for the student-athletes.
Perform all duties in accordance with NCAA , Conference, and University rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Primary responsibilities are to assist the Head Coach in all aspects of Division I program including, but not limited to, teaching student athletes how to perform volleyball skills, coordinating team travel arrangements, recruiting and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Assist with facilitating practice and training. Stat taking and data analysis. Perform all duties in accordance with NCAA , Conference and University rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
