As a Group Fitness Instructor he/she is responsible for providing group fitness instruction while monitoring and educating members on fitness and safety in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time.
* Provides adequate warm-up, class content, stretching, and cool down.
* Instructs class participants on effective workout methods, using and demonstrating proper technique.
* Prepares appropriate equipment and music for each class.
* Maintains a positive experience for members and class participants.
* Assists club management in promotion of smoothies, new products and promotions.
* Works on maintaining and building classes. If class is empty work to pull members in to class
Qualifications:
* Current Group Fitness certification
* Current certification
* CPR/AED certification
* Ability to motivate members towards participating in group fitness classes
* Strong desire to help others reach their health and fitness goals
* Completes Retro University requirements"
