Staff Accountant

Robert Half is partnering with a valued client to hire a contract-to-permanent Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities

Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reports

Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation

Help identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting-related matters
