Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the Surgical Care Unit serves as the communication link for the unit, greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers, and supporting patient care through clerical and receptionist duties, telephone communications, and chart management. Also monitors security of the locked unit entry badging system.

• Greet and assist patients, families, guests, and providers.
• Manage telephone communications and clerical/receptionist duties to support patient care.
• Organize and maintain patient charts.
• Monitor security of the locked unit entry badging system.

• Part-time | 36-48 hours every two weeks | Onsite
• Day shift | 12-hour shifts | 7:00am-7:30pm

• Starting pay begins at $17.83 per hour and increases with experience
• Pay range: $16.59 - $24.92 per hour

• High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
• One year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
