The City of St. James Economic Development Authority is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated EDA Assistant to provide administrative and program support to the EDA Director. This position plays an important role in supporting housing, commercial development, and community revitalization initiatives in St. James. Successful candidates will be able to maintain files, databases, and reports related to economic development activities; prepare correspondence and communications, assist with grant reporting and compliance;
as well as be citizen focused, have exceptional customer service, along with being able to work cooperatively as a member of the team. Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent with two years’ experience in office administration, customer service, communications, public administration, or related field. Associate’s degree or coursework in business administration, communications, or related field preferred.
