Provides customer service to allied health staff, physicians, contractors, volunteers, patients and visitors as applicable. Receives and responds to customer needs face to face, via phone, and email in a professional and courteous manner. Sells, collects, and maintains data for parking and transportation programs that include bus passes, Mayo Clinic Access Identification Cards, and parking eligibility. Assists in communicating parking policies and trains new staff in the work unit as applicable.
Acts as a subject matter expert and presents parking and transportation information to various departments and Mayo Clinic orientation as applicable. Utilizes systems technology to place building and security access privileges on the Mayo Clinic access identification cards and printing capabilities.
Must be able to work with multiple software programs and utilize dual computer screens. Ensures payment for bus passes are for the correct zone, correct vendor and validates the bus pass in the bus pass program. If applicable to the site, collects and maintains data to ensure all entries related to bus passes or lost access cards are accurate with the payroll deduction process.
Interacts with Enforcement Representatives and documents parking violations as applicable. Serves as a resource related to parking and transportation policies, procedures, security access, card access, and parking enforcement. Participates in Mayo Clinic orientation for new employees, Medical Residents, summer students, and nursing. Maintain the Electronic Access Request Form file to ensure the proper adding and deletions for employee’s access and the deactivation of all terminated employees.
Responsible for entry of credit card transaction, personal check transactions, and all department information for the purchase of patient/visitor parking passes.
