Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business processes and recommend and develop solutions to improve processes using digital standards and technology.
  • Support cost containment and supply chain optimization for the Practice, including supply management system initiatives, process automation and digital innovation.
  • Train, advise and mentor SCM staff to promote an end‑to‑end digital supply chain.
  • Conduct process improvement, innovation, project management, and application support/conf config with SCM or Finance technology, ERP/EHR/large integrated system, and/or data warehouses.
  • Act as an active member of systems teams to sustain long‑term goals through consultation, process improvement and digital transformation.
  • Maintain project portfolio, advise on strategic initiatives, and track value; may participate in industry advisory and/or user groups.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert in the QMS and ensure compliance with institutional, departmental and external regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in health care, engineering, analytics, finance, supply chain or information systems; alternatives:
    Master’s degree with 4 years or high‑school diploma with 10 years. Certifications may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to function independently.
  • Professional, culturally astute communication skills, both written and verbal, including executive‑level presentations.
  • Highly developed understanding of Finance and/or SCM end‑to‑end business processes and the systems utilized.
  • Experience supporting an ERP system, integrated systems, and/or using modern analytics and automation tools, SQL or similar tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and develop constructive working relationships.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
  • Strong investigational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Solid customer‑service and/or business consulting skills.
  • Capability to persuade and lead teams through significant change.
  • Preferred:
    Mayo Quality Fellows Silver and Gold Certification, Lean/Six Sigma, BA, PMP, CPA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Quality systems experience required.
  • In‑depth understanding of quality management concepts and regulatory/accreditation requirements.
  • Experience and/or participation in internal/external audit or inspection process.
  • Authorization to work and remain in the United States without need for Mayo Clinic sponsorship (i.e., U.S. Citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
