The Well-Being and Belonging Program Manager develops, coordinates, maintains and supports programs, events, projects, and an integrated and formal infrastructure in support of Department of Nursing's strategic priorities. They participate in and support operations and strategic plan strategies and tactics. Ensure that programs and events align with the institutional mission, vision and objectives; ensures that key institutional messages are communicated through programs and events.
Partners with the Director of Well-Being and Belonging - Nursing and department leaders to manage and coordinate institutional resources to achieve projects and event objectives and strategies and communicates with internal and external collaborators and stakeholders. Serves as a liaison representing Department of Nursing Well-Being and Belonging on other committees, task forces, institutional or community initiatives, as appropriate.
This is a half-time, salaried position at 20 hours per week.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in management, business, public or health care administration, project management or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of related business experience, including program, project, and/or event management experience. Broad-based program, event and/or project related experience is required in order to coordinate a wide range of activities. Must have broad-based knowledge of office support and computer systems.
Ability to independently manage a varied workload of projects and assignments with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Must have strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated effectiveness in planning and group dynamics, including team problem solving skills. Experience working with diverse populations and audiences is highly desired. Must be capable of working collaboratively in a complex organization. Ability to work effectively in a consensus-style operation that expects and promotes teamwork.
Able to guide and direct activities across multiple professional disciplines and business units, and work effectively with various levels of management.
