Your Next Career Opportunity – Supervisor, Construction

Manage construction/colocation process to produce quality sites to customer specifications within the timeframe and budget required by planning, coordinating and managing multiple projects while supervising field employees and subcontractors. Act as on site representative to client with responsibility for ensuring all requirements are clearly communicated to internal team and met within budget and time frames specified.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, prioritize and organize material deliveries, equipment, manpower and subcontractors in conjunction with Territory Management, ensuring project progress in an efficient manner, considering company priorities and customer expectations.
  • Ensure construction meets or exceeds customer specifications and standards through daily site inspections and immediate corrective actions for deficiencies.
  • Maintain and enforce safety practices, perform daily safety inspections, and conduct weekly safety meetings, reporting on safety topics and attendance.
  • Inspect subcontractor work daily, ensuring it meets design and quality standards, and address schedule, quality, or budget issues promptly.
  • Interface with client’s representative to resolve issues, schedule equipment deliveries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain open communication with field personnel, respond to their needs, and coordinate resource and equipment needs with management.
  • Provide daily status reports, participate in bid walks, and coordinate deliveries with vendors and management.
  • Participate in pre-construction walks, confirm site layout, and ensure utilities are properly marked.
  • Report accidents or injuries immediately, develop and build subcontractor base, and ensure all permits and approvals are received before construction.
  • Work extended hours as needed, perform other duties to ensure safety, quality, and timely project completion.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and develop team members, providing oversight and guidance.
  • Coach and mentor team, facilitate onboarding, and support career development.
  • Empower team members, delegate responsibilities, and provide performance feedback.
  • Create a culture aligned with organizational values and focus on engagement.
  • Lead performance management efforts to meet productivity and quality goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma/GED;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1+ years of construction or equipment installation experience; wireless telecommunications experience preferred.
  • Domestic travel required.
  • Valid driver’s license; OSHA 10

    Hr Safety Course, CDL, First Aid, CPR certifications preferred.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, and working at heights.
  • Work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, humidity, wet conditions, noise, hazards, and vibration.
