Project Manager​/Estimator

Job Description

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for overseeing construction projects from the bidding and preconstruction phases through to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Additionally, the Project Manager/Estimator manages all financial aspects of projects, including estimating, bidding, budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking, change orders, draws, and closeouts.

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for overseeing construction projects from the bidding and preconstruction phases through to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Additionally, the Project Manager/Estimator manages all financial aspects of projects, including estimating, bidding, budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking, change orders, draws, and closeouts.

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish, including bidding, preconstruction, and completion phases.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
• Manage financial aspects such as estimating, bidding, budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking, change orders, draws, and closeouts.

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management and estimating.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and masonry construction projects in a commercial setting.
• Experience as a Project Manager and Estimator, possibly from construction management, civil, or structural backgrounds.

• Experience in commercial restoration, including caulking and coating.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, and Sage.
• Expertise in estimating, restoration, and masonry.

This role requires daily presence in the office with some expectations of visiting sites for bid meetings. The company has around 100 employees, with a team of 5 Project Managers. The company culture is supportive, privately owned, and offers room for growth. It is a union shop with consistent salaried pay. Employees have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects such as parking ramps at MSP airport, major roundabouts, and the MSP terminal.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, MN.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $64.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
