Responsibilities include developing and managing detailed production budgets; negotiating rates and contracts with vendors, models; overseeing purchase orders, vendor onboarding and payment processing.

The producer sources and coordinates freelance crew such as actors, talent agencies, stylists, makeup artists, assistants and digital technicians, while ensuring all contracts, releases and documentation are properly executed and archived. In preparation for photo shoots, the Photography Producer identifies and secures appropriate locations, obtains necessary permissions and coordinates with internal stakeholders across departments. The role ensures that all contracts, releases and production documentation are properly archived. In addition to project‑specific duties, the Photography Producer maintains strong professional relationships with photographers, agencies and vendors. The role contributes to the development and maintenance of production templates, workflows and operational systems, and supports long‑term production planning and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

As a member of the broader Executive Office creative team, the photo producer will also contribute and participate in department functions relating to the projects the photography relates to. Meetings, creative development and coordination around the presentations the photography exists within is another core function of the role.
