About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking an experienced violin/strings instructor to teach part‑time at Rochester School of Music. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON.
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or pedagogy or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $25–$30 per hour. A 401(k) program with employer matching is available to all employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part‑ and full‑time employees.
