What Will You Do?- Coordinate information flow, orders, and shipments to meet shipping goals of the customer(s) and division(s).
- Resolve escalated parts cases from our customer service associates.
- Process orders and deliveries, manage calls and multiple email boxes independently.
- Support and collaborate with sales and marketing, inventory analysts, distribution centers, credit, and transportation to facilitate order requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of Toro product and share knowledge and training with new employees.
- Maintain best-in-class responsiveness to correspondence with internal and external customers.
- Identify, troubleshoot and escape any issues that could delay or impede prompt shipment of orders. Make suggestions to avoid future issues.
- Document and update departmental procedures.
- Take lead in periodic projects and activities such as Lean process improvements.
- Complete ongoing learning and education to ensure competence with the changing needs of the corporation, while sharing learning with others.
- Operate independently to resolve issues in SAP, export compliance, and Letter of Credit processing.
- Report to management on activities and results of shipments.
- All other tasks and projects as assigned.
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize, assemble, and arrange resources to meet goals.
- Proficient data entry and system navigation skills.
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, remaining focused on the ultimate objective.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction and develop relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers.
- Capacity to work independently as well as within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including strong keyboarding skills.
- Experience with order-related systems; SAP, product knowledge and configurations required.
- 0 to 10% travel (domestic and international).
