Overview
Mayo Clinic is seeking a board certified / board eligible pediatric hematologist to join our growing team. Mayo Clinic is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a federally designated Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center with 11 pediatric hematologist/oncologists, nine nurse practitioners, and eight specialty nurses. The division provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of pediatric hematologic and oncologic conditions; this role is focused on non-malignant, classical pediatric hematology.

Physicians and scientists at the Children s Research Center are at the forefront of research, including groundbreaking clinical trials that lead to innovative therapies and the best care models to improve healthcare for newborns, children and teenagers.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient and inpatient care of children with non-malignant hematologic conditions within a highly collaborative practice.
- Share responsibility for inpatient care of children with blood disorders, cancer, and those undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Mayo Clinic Hospital, while maintaining defined areas of clinical focus.
- Contribute to the division’s educational mission through teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in clinical research and collaborate with institutional discovery and translational efforts related to non-malignant hematology, bleeding disorders, and vascular anomalies.
- Dedicate career development time to support scholarly activity, professional growth, and leadership development.
- Participate in clinical leadership and collaborate across the division and with Mayo Clinic for comprehensive patient care models.
- Board certified / board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Minnesota.
- Specialized training in non-malignant hematology is encouraged.
