QualificationsCurrent appropriate Minnesota teaching license required: K-12 license, Adult Education Teaching License or a person who has a bachelor's or master's degree in English.
Classes IncludeWriting for College and Careers II, D2L, Collaborate with instructor for the English 1117 at RCTC, writing lab/homework help for English 1117 at RCTC.
Job Summary- Teach developmental writing skills to prepare students to transition to RCTC.
- Teach students the D2L platform.
- Collaborate with the RCTC instructor and provide wrap‑around homework support for the English 1117.
- Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable.
- Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
- Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
