Registered Nurse

A growing nursing program is seeking a Master’s or Doctorate-prepared Registered Nurse who is passionate about helping nursing students achieve their educational goals. Faculty are responsible for teaching nursing courses in multiple modalities while supporting the mission and vision of the institution. Full-time instructors typically teach 4.5–5.5 work units per quarter.

• Utilizing effective teaching strategies and fostering an engaging, student-centered learning environment
• Supporting synchronous and asynchronous learning through live classroom tools and outreach
• Connecting course objectives to performance outcomes with organized and effective instruction
• Assisting in curriculum development, assessment, and program improvement initiatives
• Maintaining an active classroom presence and collaborating with academic leadership
• Participating in faculty meetings, events, and committee work as assigned

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required (Doctorate preferred)
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred
