Position: Special Education Teacher (DCD Setting)

Location: Rice, MN Area

Start Date: September 3, 2024

End Date: May 23, 2025

Classroom Setting:

• Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)
• Ages: 5 22 years old
• Caseload: 6-8 students

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with developmental cognitive disabilities.
• Create and deliver engaging and effective instructional plans and materials.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet each students needs.
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to support students educational and developmental goals.
• Provide a nurturing and structured learning environment that fosters growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License with endorsement in Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) preferred.
• Proven experience working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to individual student needs.
